About the Program

Kathmandu Metropolitan City, through its Urban Planning Commission, has announced the launch of Career Camp 2082 — a professional development and capacity-building program aimed at enhancing the skills and employability of youth in Kathmandu.

This initiative is designed to provide practical learning, mentorship, and exposure to real-world professional environments, helping participants become more competitive in today’s job market.

The Career Camp will include:

• Capacity-building training

• Interactive learning sessions

• Field exposure

• Mentorship from professionals in relevant sectors

The program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical workplace skills while supporting KMC’s ongoing efforts toward sustainable urban development and youth empowerment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have completed Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Urban Planning

  • Civil Engineering

  • Architecture

• Must have a keen interest in contributing to city planning, urban development, and municipal projects.

Program Details

• Number of Participants: 22

• Duration: 1 month

• Stipend: NPR 24,000 (Total for the program period)
