Consultant Vacancy for Family Planning Micro Plan Documentation – KIDS Nepal

Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services (KIDS) is seeking a qualified Consultant for the documentation of Family Planning Micro Plan in Kapilvastu Municipality, Kapilvastu, and Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, Rolpa. KIDS is a renowned NGO currently active in 6 districts of the Lumbini Province, dedicated to health, nutrition, food security, livelihoods, climate change, and WASH programs. As part of its SRHR initiatives in partnership with UNFPA, KIDS Nepal is providing critical support for local development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert documentation of the process, results, challenges, and best practices of FP (Family Planning) microplanning.

• Collection and contextualization of FP microplanning guidelines tailored for selected municipalities.

• Recommendations to strengthen localized FP implementation at the municipal level.

The consultant should possess the following qualifications and expertise:
• Master’s degree in public health or relevant subjects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Reproductive health and FP programming.
• Demonstrated familiarity and engagement with Family Planning Microplanning.
• Proficient in documentation and report writing.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the health system of Lumbini Province is an asset.

Reporting and coordination:
The consultant will report to Sr. Program Manager of KIDS and provincial team of UNFPA Nepal and will work closely with stakeholders of Kapilvastu Municipality and Sunil smriti RM.

Proposal submission and deadline:
The consultant is required to submit the technical and financial proposal along with detailed
breakdown, scale of benefits for different packages. In addition, candidates should submit their
updated CV, cover letter and additional related supporting documents.

The proposal should demonstrate sound knowledge, technical skills and capability as required by the nature of the work of the assignment and understanding of the requisite tasks set forth in the scope of work.
